On the 26th, the Nihonmatsu Tourism Association in Fukushima Prefecture and Azuma-kan, the operator of the Azuma-kan hot spring hotel, signed a partnership agreement with AGL, a Korean reservation site operator with a network of golf courses around the world, to attract foreign tourists to Japan. This is the first agreement that AGL has signed with an organization or company in Fukushima Prefecture. To promote tourism, the partners plan to create experience-based travel package products that include accommodations, golf, Japanese sake, traditional Japanese sweets, and handicrafts, aiming to revitalize tourism and regional industries. The signing ceremony took place on the same day at Azuma-kan, where Chairman Fumihiko Anzai of the Tourism Association, President Takuji Shirasaka of Azuma-kan, and CEO Jim Fan of AGL exchanged the agreement. They expressed their hopes, stating, "We want to promote the charm and safety of Nihonmatsu and Fukushima Prefecture to the world."
