Dennis van Noord Appointed as Vice President of Global BusinessYook Kyung-geon Joins as Head of Travel Business, and Cho Hae-seok as Executive Director<Dennis Van Noord Appointed Vice President of Global Business Development at Golf Tech Company AGL / AGL> Golf tech company AGL is actively recruiting industry experts to strengthen its global business. On the 18th, AGL announced the appointment of Dennis Van Noord, a Dutch national and former Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Rakuten Travel Exchange, as its new Vice President of Global Business Development. Dennis joined Booking.com in 2003 at its Amsterdam headquarters and played a key role in helping the startup grow into a global OTA platform as the Senior Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region until 2015. After working in the global strategy department of Expedia Group, he served as CCO at Rakuten Travel Exchange until last year. With over 20 years of experience in the OTA industry, Dennis will oversee global strategic partnerships for key solutions, including AGL’s golf booking platform TIGER BOOKING, TIGER GDS, and TIGER Biz, and will also serve as a Board Advisor. Joining AGL as Senior Executive Director in charge of global business development is Cho Hae-seok. Cho, who has worked at LG Electronics, Yahoo, and headed the strategic partnerships department at Expedia, also has extensive experience in the global GDS industry, having worked at Sabre Corporation for five years from 2017. Most recently, he was the Director of Business Development at the PGA Tour Asia Pacific (APAC) division. Following the recruitment of Yook Kyung-geon, former CEO of Hana Tour, as Head of Travel Business in October, AGL plans to accelerate its business expansion by adding experts in global OTA and GDS industries to strengthen its global business and strategic partnerships.
