Booking Taiwan’s Beloved Golf Courses Now Easier for Golfers Worldwide.

Global golf tech company AGL, led by CEO Jim Huang, has launched a new booking service for 55 golf courses in Taiwan. Since October 29, reservations have been available via Google’s online booking system, partnered sales channels, and the HeyTeeTime real-time reservation platform for golf courses worldwide. Through AGL’s proprietary TIGER GDS system, tee times for these golf courses are distributed to sales channels, allowing golfers from Korea and across the globe to book and pay for tee times in real time for over 90% of golf courses across Taiwan, including in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.

Taiwan’s golf courses are highly popular due to the country’s warm climate and beautiful natural scenery, which offer year-round golf. The courses are also known for affordable rounds with inclusive green fees, cart fees, and caddy fees, and they feature diverse terrain and unique course designs, providing great variety and challenges for golfers. The abundance of local cuisine and activities also makes Taiwan an ideal destination for a complete golfing experience.

Courses available for booking through TIGER GDS include prestigious clubs in northern Taiwan, such as Miramar Golf Club and Daxi Golf Club in Taipei, and popular courses in central Taiwan, like National Golf Country Club and WuFong Golf Club in Taichung. Southern Taiwan’s popular resort destinations, including Tainan’s Chi Nan Golf Club and Kaohsiung Golf Club, are also included.

Additionally, as of July, Taiwan’s golf courses are accessible via Google’s reservation service, allowing golfers worldwide to book through HeyTeeTime by searching for golf courses in Taiwan on Google Search or Google Maps. This service provides a convenient booking experience for golfers not only in Korea but also in Japan, the United States, Europe, and beyond.

To further cater to the diverse needs of global golfers, AGL is also developing golf packages that combine Taiwan golf course tee times with accommodations at popular hotels. Taiwan golf reservations are available through AGL’s local partners, including Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, Mode Tour, Shinhan Sol, and Lotte Card, as well as on HeyTeeTime.
