This winter, an opportunity has opened up for an affordable and convenient golf trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Shinhan Bank has launched a Chiang Mai overseas golf discount event through its mobile application SOL, starting from January 1st.

This special event, in collaboration with AGL (Ageel), the developer of the worldwide golf course real-time booking system known as TIGER (TIGER GDS), is exclusively available to SOL members. It allows members to make real-time reservations and payments at 9 famous golf courses in Chiang Mai at special prices.

Golfers can enjoy a golf freedom trip by reserving tee times at their preferred golf courses through the Shinhan SOL app's overseas golf booking service. They also have the option to choose packages that combine golf with resort stays. Additionally, there is a "Multi-color Golf" package available during the travel period, where golfers can stay in 5-star luxury hotels and experience rounds of golf at various courses, providing an exciting opportunity for many golf enthusiasts.

Chiang Mai, located in the northern highlands of Thailand, boasts an average winter temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius, making it a sought-after "golf destination" during the peak golf travel season of winter, especially when compared to other Southeast Asian regions.

Furthermore, Chiang Mai offers excellent accessibility, with Chiang Mai International Airport, hotels, and golf courses all within a maximum of one-hour drive. It is known for its safety, and it's even famous among Europeans for extended "month-long stays" in the region. Consequently, it attracts numerous golf tourists every winter.
