A global golf technology company AGL (CEO Jim Hwang), is expanding the range of choices for golf destinations in Southeast Asia.
AGL started a real-time reservation service for tee times at 25 golf courses in Malaysia through its self-developed TIGER GDS system in March
For the first time in the world, golfers at these 25 golf courses, including Kuala Lumpur CC, reserve and pay for tee times through sales sites that are in collaboration with AGL, such as Myrealtrip and Movv, and the tee times are confirmed in real time.
In particular, golfers' options have been expanded with even distribution in Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru, Langkawi, Kedah, and Penang. Overseas golf travelers can enjoy various golf courses in Malaysia that are like hidden gems through AGL.
In addition, AGL expanded its service in Vietnam, the mecca of golf travel in Southeast Asia, from the middle of last month. Golfers can also make reservations and payments in real time for more than 50 golf courses located in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
Vietnam is a popular travel destination that did not miss the 1st and 2nd place in sales countries on the 'Overseas Golf Free Travel' site of AGL and My Real Trip in December of last year and January of this year. However, it is also an area where it was not easy for golfers to reserve a tee time due to the large number of users during the peak season for overseas golf trips.
