Title AGL Collaborates With Nice D&R On Golf Course Big Data business Updated 2023.02.14
Contents Global golf technology company AGL has started cooperation with research data-based business insight company NICE D&R to commercialize golf course big data.

AGL and Nice D&R held a signing ceremony for a mutual cooperation agreement to commercialize ‘Golf Course Data Analysis and Consumer Quality Survey’ at the Nice D&R headquarters in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 10th. At the signing ceremony, AGL CEO Jim Hwang and Nice D&R CEO Park Jung-woo decided to join forces to create new values by converging customer-based golf service strategies with ICT.

As a result, AGL's analysis of golf course data and Nice D&R's survey on golf course consumer quality are expected to improve the overall golf industry through the use of golf big data. In particular, it is expected that it will be possible to provide customized golf services specialized in golfers' tendencies and usage patterns, which will greatly help the growth of golf courses such as securing users and increasing revisit rates.

AGL, which develops and operates TIGER GDS, a real-time golf course connection platform around the world, announces "Golf Consumer Report (GCR)" every year in cooperation with specialized organizations such as KT and BC Card.

The Golf Consumer Report collects, analyzes, and processes big data related to golfers, such as consumption patterns of golf users and users using golf courses, and mobile applications, contributing to the overall domestic and foreign golf industry.

Meanwhile, Nice D&R is a knowledge-specialized company that provides IT services and research using high-level data, and has been carrying out projects using big data with various companies in various fields. By signing a business agreement with AGL this time, it will also take the lead in the development of the golf industry.

Regarding the signing of the MOU, an AGL official said, "We will combine AGL's ICT technology and golf industry expertise with Nice D&R's research data to provide solutions for improving service quality of golf courses and digital-based growth strategies."
